Strangers won the award for Best Special and Visual Effects at Okotoks Film Festival! šŸ†

Thank you so much to the festival, the jury, and everyone who came out to watch the film at its world premiere last night! It was truly a memorable evening.

Filmmakers receive an award on stage before the screening of short films at a film festival.

Huge congratulations to our amazing (award-winning!) team:

Creature Designed and Fabricated by Puppet Stuff Canada

Visual Effects // VFX Supervisor Morgan Ermter

Special Makeup Effects Fabricator Stacy Wegner

Thank you everyone involved for making the magic of this project come to life. šŸ‘¾

Congratulations to Solaris ProductionsĀ on their first festival and first award for this project. I'm very excited to see where the short film heads next!

You can read more about it (and see some pictures from the opening night of the festival) from Okotoks Online here.
